The first week of winter tour is on the books! We’ve spun the wheel with you, played sold out shows and welcomed some fresh support acts to the stage. Today we have some additional winter tour support to tell you about! Joining us at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester NY, we’ll have Dogs in a Pile (March 23 & 24) and Eggy (March 25). At The Mission Ballroom in Denver, we’ll be joined by Eminence Ensemble (March 31) and Cycles (April 1). All winter tour tickets are available now.
Happy (almost) 25th anniversary to 12/27/97 from New York Cityโs famed Wetlands Preserve! We thought a newly discovered, and now re-mastered, source would make a great holiday gift and NYE run teaser, so weโre a couple days early with this one.
May we suggest blasting Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy to get your Christmas started this morning?! ๐๐ฝ๐
Head to nugs.net where you can listen to this show - and hundreds of our soundboards - with a streaming subscription or with the purchase of individual shows: nugs.net/discobiscuits
We’ve got some January & February support additions to fill you in on!
On Friday, January 20th, we’ll be joined at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe PA by Baked Shrimp. They’ve been making a name for themselves with their high energy funky dance sound and, if you were around our shows in the mid-00s you may remember one of their band members Jared—he was a little kid back then and would more often than not be on his dad’s shoulders riding the rail at tDB! Circle = full.
On Friday, February 3rd at Palace Theatre in Albany NY, Snakes and Stars will get things started. This is a newer band comprised of Michael Travis from String Cheese Incident and Aaron Johnston from Brazilian Girls and David Byrne’s band.
Then, on Saturday, February 4th at The Anthem in DC, it’ll be SnackTime—the 7-piece, brass heavy band out of our hometown of Philadelphia who plays the 76ers halftime shows among other notable things in and out of Philly. tDB and horns, anyone?
